What happens once I have ordered the ORCA product?
You will be allocated a project manager to oversee the installation of the software and ensure deadlines are met.

What if I have data that I want to migrate from my existing software application?
From experience we have found that each data migration project is different and has its own hurdles to overcome, our development team and project manager will discuss how best to extract the data from your existing application and design the routines necessary for migration into ORCA.

Can you supply training on site to my staff?
Yes, training can be provided onsite or at our offices in Harrogate. We tend to adopt the “train the trainer” methodology when training your staff. i.e. Train your managers / team leaders who then pass on their knowledge to other team members.

I want to process payments via Debit/Credit through ORCA, can this be done and if so, is your software PCI-DSS compliant?
Yes you can process card payments through the software, we do not actual store any card details within the database itself, which makes the process of your organisation becoming PCI-DSS complaint a much more straight process.

Can we design our own routines to import new business or payments into the system?
Yes, the product has a module called ETL Studio which is used to import data into the system, you design your own import templates and can schedule these to run automatically overnight.

Can we design our own reports within the system?
Because the ORCA system utilises SQL Server 2008, you can use the built in functionality of Reporting Services 2008 to build your own library of reports and schedule these to run automatically, reports can be output in a variety of formats and emailed automatically upon completion to management of direct to your clients.

Can we add our own user defined fields onto the screens used by our collectors?
Yes, you can add any number of user defined fields onto the system yourself. These can then be extracted onto reports or letters that get generated by the system. You can also define which screens appear when an account is accessed and what user defined fields get displayed on each of the screens.

What if we do not have our own IT department ?
Adtec’s development department can provide you with all the help you need, whether it be the creation of a new report or the setting up of a new file import routine.

Do you offer finance to allow us to pay for the software over a number of years?
Yes, there are several payment options available to you, these can be discussed with our sales department.

Can we use the software for both Debt Collection and Ledger Management ?
Yes, the product is designed to cater for Debt Collection, Credit Management and Debt Purchase portfolios.
